American comedic author Erma Bombeck once wrote, “Never order food in excess of your body weight.” It might sound silly, but thanks to years of super-sizing everything from fries to fillets, 2013 began with me planning a diet for weight loss.
From year 2000 until 2010 the amount of people on a diet jumped from 24% to 54% of the American population (www.caloriecontrol.org). Do you know what that means? If you are on a diet then obviously you are not alone. Even celebrities like Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Hudson are advertising their need to shed a few pounds.
